Rockwood Straight Face Retaining Wall After

Removed and replaced an old railroad tie wall in Oakville, MO. Installed a Rockwood retaining wall with 8" natural straight face blocks. Retaining wall was built to Rockwood master plan specifications.

Homeowners in Oakville, MO were having an erosion issue in their backyard. We built a Rockwood retaining wall along the back hillside to prevent any further erosion. Also, installed rip rap rock along the base of the wall to prevent erosion.

Homeowner in Oakville, MO had a failing railroad tie wall. We obtained an engineer’s detailed plan for a new block retaining wall. The old tie-wall was removed. A new retaining wall was built with Rockwood Colonial blocks. The height of the retaining wall was 9 feet and approximately 150 linear feet.
